We also admit students to prepare, write and pass JUPEB/IJMB in flying colours which makes it possible for them to be admitted into 200 levels or year two of our local and overseas partnering Universities.
Above all, we prepare and assist students to transfer and continue their studies in Germany where they have abundant and limitless opportunities to read the very course of their choice, on 💯% full scholarship. Such courses include Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Engineering, Computer Science, Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences etc.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Between 2013 and 2017, we had an arrangement with Universty of Northern Philippines and Pangasinan State University of Philipines, which opened the opportunity for our students to transfer to year two of the above Universities. Today, many of them are great. Some are now medical doctors, Pharmacists, Engineers, Nurses, Lawyers etc, and also doing well as they have migrated into different parts of the world.
At inception, we were intended to be running the professional programmmes of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Administrators (CIA), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Institute of Computer Studies, Institute of Surveyors, Institute of Builders etc, and presenting the students for the examinations of these professional bodies.
However, with time, the School got affiliated with some Universities to run their Pre-degree programmmes. Presently, we are in arrangement with HIPDET UNIVERSTY, CAMEROON to run their Pre-degree programmmes purposefully to enable the students take advantage of the German study opportunities . We also run programmmes that prepare and enable our students to write and pass their JUPEB and IJMB examinations.

This arrangement with the three institutions is meant to give our students the best options in terms of course of study and the choice of institution of learning. MIGRATION, SATURATION OF AMERICA, BRITAIN, CANADA etc
Since pre-independemce era, the English speaking and non-English speaking colonies have always had the most advanced English speaking countries like Britain, USA and Canada as their education tourism destinations. This has continued all through the colonial period to date. The result of this educational migration is that too many people from these regions have saturated these advanced western countries, with the obvious result that tuition fees in the host countries have been increasing year by year, so that today, tuition fees in Britain for foreign students ranges from £9,000 to £15,000 per session, while in USA, it ranges from $15,000 to as much as $20,000, depending on the institution. In Canada, it is between $10,000 to $20,000.
EXPLOITATION OF NIGERIANS BY THE ADVANCED ENGLISH SPEAKING WORLD
It is estimated that Nigeria presently spends about £1.3b on British education annually, and that from 1960 to date, she has spent between £40b to £50b on tuition fees for the education of Nigerians in Britain alone. During the same period 1960 to date, she has spent an estimated figure of $100b for foreign education of the citizens in Britain, USA and Canada.
According to the United Kingdom’s Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), Nigeria was the third non-European Union country sending the highest number of students to the United Kingdom in recent time. In 2009/10, it had 16,680 students in UK Higher Institutions and in 2010/11; there were 17,585 Nigerian students in those institutions. Ranking only behind India and China.
With the economic forces and the increasing number of Nigerian students in Britain, the British Universities resorted to exploiting Nigerians in reaction to their ever increasing number. Hence, the reason for increasing the fees every year.
GERMANY, A NEW WORLD TO BE.
True, Nigeria was colonized by Britain and that made English Language to be our second language. America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland are the developed and advanced countries that speak English Language while Nigeria, Ghana, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, South Africa, Pakistan etc, are among the former British colonies that speak English Language. Indonesia, though a former British colony, doesn’t speak English Language.
With the industrial development going on in these English speaking developed countries like Britain, America, Canada, Singapore and some other former British colonies, constant migration from the less developed English speaking former colonies to the developed English speaking countries is constantly going on, and the trend is always on the increase every year.
However, better, greater and more sustained opportunities abound in Germany and German speaking countries.
WORLD OF OPPORTUNITIES IN GERMANY AND GERMAN SPEAKING COUNTRIES
Although German is spoken around the world, six countries use it as their official language. Austria, Belgium, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and Switzerland, and all share a common territorial area, with Germany at its center. Germany is by far the largest of these countries, both in terms of territory and population.
Germany is the fourth largest economy in the world after the United States, China and Japan and the largest economy in Europe. It is the third largest export nation globally: With 70%
The German GDP in 2021 was $4.26trillion, and with a population of 83.2 million, its per capita income for 2022 was $48,432, a 5.41% decline,
the per capita for 2022 was $48,432, a 5.41% decline. Service sector contributes the largest part to the country’s GDP.
On the area of employment, Germany presently has vacancies for one million, five hundred thousand (1,500,000) applicants.
GERMANY: OPPORTUNITIES LIKE NO OTHER.
From all the above information, it is clear that unprecedented opportunities like no other abound in Germany.

ISREAL AND TURKEY: EXAMPLE OF NATIONS BUILT WITH DIASPORA EARNINGS
In 70 AD, General Titus conquered Isreal and took away the Jews captive. After that, the Jews scattered all over the civilized world such as USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Russia, France, Italy etc. They remained in those countries for several years, contributing significantly to the economy of those nations. However, they never forgot homeland, even though it had been seized by the Arabs and renamed Palestine. But by divine providence in 1948, the United Nations issued a Charter which provided a home for Isreal in their original land. With a land to call their home, and with much foreign currency at their disposal, the Jews started trooping back home in their numbers, and before anybody knew it, they have built one of the greatest and resilient economies in the world.
Turkey, India and China had deliberate migration policies whereby they sent their citizens to work overseas, earn foreign currencies and repatriate the money home, and with these foreign earnings, these benefitting countries have been able to build their economies to enviable heights.
SOUTH EAST: A GREAT CHALLENGE AHEAD.
In a period of depression and acute unemployment, the above mentioned countries devised the migration policies that returned great wealth to their countries. Nigeria as a nation is passing through terrible economic hardship with consequent unemployment. Our governments at both federal and state levels ought to have copied the example of Turkey, Isreal, India, and China in introducing a state policy that will encourage migration and consequent diaspora remittances. It is true that as at today, Nigeria’s diaspora remittances is at the region of$22b per annum, but with careful planning, it can be double that amount, after all, India earned $90b, Mexico earned $60 billion, China earned $51 billion, the Philippines earned $38 billion and Egypt earned $32 billion as diaspora remittances in 2022. If the Government resuscitates the moribund Technical Aid Corp, and transforms it into Technical Migrant Corp, foreign governments can be sourcing qualified manpower directly from the Government of Nigeria, with its far-reaching benefits.
In the absence of any concrete action from the central government, the State Governments can take the initiative and set up Diaspora Departments, create employment contact with Canada, Australia, Germany, US, UK and other advanced countries in need of skilled workers, so that the local workers will be sent Abroad through official means. This policy will deal with unemployment, and return foreign exchange to the state economy for economic development. And like Isreal and Turkey, the Region will certainly break through in development.
EASTLAND SCHOOL: BRIDGING THE GAP.
EASTLAND SCHOOL, having critically observed the world of opportunities existing in Germany and other German Language/Dutch speaking countries, and the lack of foresight and action by the Government, has decided to take the initiative, to create the necessary overseas contacts and provide the academic platform to groom students to travel and continue and complete their studies in Germany, and other German speaking countries. Thereafter, they will settle down for fulltime employment in the host country, thereby contributing to the host’s economy by providing human capital, and also, supporting the home economy, through diaspora remittances.
